Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to nine member First Nation communities
Provides technical and professional advisory services and training to enhance the overall management skills and opportunities of the nine member First Nations in their quest to become self-sufficientServes a collective population of over 10,000 people comprised of eight First Nations within Treaty 9 and one First Nation within the Robinson-Superior Treaty (but not a signatory to this treaty)Consists of Chiefs and representatives from each communityOperates a head office at Ginoogaming First NationDelivers programs and services in the areas of administration, environmental, finance, economic development, education, membership, health and social services, and technical services through local community governmentOperates various First Nation owned for-profit corporationsProvides services that respect and reflect traditional cultural beliefs and practices
