Service Description: Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to nine member First Nation communities

  • Provides advisory services and assistance to community leaders and council in fire and related matters
  • Develops programs to enhance community emergency service plans and fire inspection services
  • Provides information and training for fire fighters, fire chiefs and officers
  • Offers a critical incident stress program for fire fighters
  • Advises on:
    • Emergency services
    • Fire protection and acts of terrorism
    • Fire prevention in the home
