Service Description: Operates a 75-bed acute care facility and provides an array of services

  • Assists individuals who are experiencing problems in their life related to gambling
  • Provides treatment, education, prevention and awareness initiatives to youth and adults within the community
  • Provides gambling assessments and referral
  • Offers community-based treatment
  • Provides individual, group and family counselling
  • Offers relapse prevention support
  • Offers lower risk gambling strategies
  • Provides support for family members or persons affected by someones gambling
  • Facilitates problem gambling awareness campaigns
  • Offers workshops and community presentations
  • Promotes responsible gambling and proposes that gambling is a form of recreation that does involve some risk

    Eligibility / Target Population: Youth 12 years of age and older and adults who are concerned about their own gambling or are affected by gambling of another person
