Service Description: Operates a 75-bed acute care facility and provides an array of services

  • Offers a community based outpatient service
  • Provides treatment to individuals, couples or groups, experiencing problems due to activities relating to or from the use of substances
  • Offers addictions assessments and referrals
  • Offers individual and group counselling using harm reduction strategies
  • Provides post custody case management services
  • Offers support for family members or persons affected by the addiction of others
  • Offers parental consultations, relapse prevention support and school based programs
  • Provides supports to clients involved in the criminal justice system including group sessions at detention centres
  • Facilitates workshops and community presentations with information services available to other agencies, employers, schools and medical professionals

    Eligibility / Target Population:
    • Individuals 12 years of age and older, concerned about their own alcohol or drug use or are affected by someone's substance use

    • Adult Program: individuals 24 years and older residing within the city of Kenora

    • Youth Program: youth 12-23 years of age residing no further than a 1.5 hour commute from Kenora
