Service Description: Governed by an elected council of 13 members: the Mayor, 5 Councillors-at-Large and 7 Ward Councillors, municipal elections are held every 4 years

  • Responsible for the operation of Pioneer Ridge (750 Tungsten St), a residence for adults who need assistance and professional services that cannot be provided in their own homes
  • Provides nursing care, life enrichment activities, physiotherapy, and restorative care
  • Assists the residents of long term care to maintain as high a level of physical, mental, and social well-being as possible
  • Manages the operation of Meals on Wheels
  • Provides Supportive Living Services for the TBDSSAB-operated Jasper Place
