Service Description: Provides culturally appropriate and holistic long term support services and programs
Adult Day Program
  • Provides afternoons for socialization every Friday
  • Teaches various craft making sessions with focus on traditional Native crafts
  • Offers movie videos and card games
Congregate Dining
  • Provides a weekly luncheon consisting of full course meal, dessert and coffee
  • Offers craft making and time of socialization
Friendly Visiting
  • Arranges weekly visits from support worker in individual's home
  • Provides emotional and physical support such as grocery shopping
Security Checks
  • Makes weekly calls to clients' homes to check on them and to determine pending appointments

Transportation Program
  • Provides transportation on an as-needed basis to all events at the Centre, the hospital or clinic and for errands around town including grocery shopping

Application: Requires advance registration and Intake assessment


Transportation Program: Must call at least 24 hours ahead to make arrangements
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Individuals who are disabled, chronically ill or have special needs

  • Open to individuals 40 years of age and older with a focus on urban Indigenous individuals and their families
