Service Description: Offers public door-to-door transportation for seniors or anyone whose disability prevents them from using conventional transportation

No physical address, services are provided throughout Dryden

  • Offers public door-to-door transportation for seniors or anyone whose disability prevents them from using conventional transportation
  • Offers transportation for any reason but in priority sequence of reasons for transportation
  • Consists of one lift equipped van that can accommodate 3 wheelchairs and 9 ambulatory passengers

  • Meetings: Quarterly
    Fees: Service - Must pay driver exact cash at time of boarding
    Application:
    • A completed referral form from a physician or physiotherapist is required
    • Advance bookings are required for this service, call a minimum of 24 hours before to book your ride
    • For rides to and from medical appointments book at least one week in advance to ensure priority
    Eligibility / Target Population: Any individual who is:
    • Unable to use conventional transportation
    • Unable to walk more than 175 meters
    • Unable to climb more than three steps
