Service Description:

Oversees the administration and operation of all city departments and services
Oversees the administration of all municipal departments and services- Manages all corporate records and policies and procedures
- Maintains and prepares the agendas, by laws and minutes for all meetings including council, committee of the whole and public sessions
- Facilitates death registrations and certificates
- Issues marriage licenses, marriage certificates and conducts civil marriages
- Issues permits for special events including beer gardens, parades and temporary street closures
The Clerk also serves as:- The Returning Officer for all municipal and school board elections and by elections
- The Municipal Freedom of Information coordinator
