Service Description: Offers a comprehensive holistic program for Indigenous children and their families living off-reserve from ages 18 month to 18 years. Programs include the Aboriginal Head Start program, Child Care, Biwaase'aa and Pathways Thunder Bay programs.

  • Offers a community-based program to help increase graduation rates among Indigenous youth
  • Supports students to successfully transition to post-secondary education, training, or employment
  • Services offered include:
    • Tutoring
    • Mentoring from community members
    • Leadership program
    • Cultural program delivered by Elder and Knowledge Keepers from the community
    • Financial support and advocacy
    • Nutrition
    • Various other cultural teachings and fun activities

    Eligibility / Target Population: Focus is on Indigenous youth but any high school student is welcome to call to determine if they are eligible.
