Service Description: Offers free legal support in immigration, refugee and citizenship law to eligible newcomers in Northwestern Ontario

Offers free legal support in immigration, refugee and citizenship law to eligible newcomers in Northwestern Ontario
Services that may be provided include issues affecting:
  • Persons Without Status
  • Temporary Foreign Workers, International Students, and Visitors
  • Temporary Residents or Persons Without Status who are victims of family violence or vulnerable workers
  • Permanent Residents
  • Resettled Refugees and Refugee Sponsors
  • Refugee Claimants and Protected Persons

Application: Request an appointment online or call for intake to determine eligibility; services by appointment only
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Must be living in Northwestern Ontario (Thunder Bay District, Kenora District or Rainy River District)

  • Must have low income or other barriers to accessing legal assistance

  • Have an issue related to immigration law
