Service Description:
  • Provides counselling, psychotherapy, education, and support services to assist individulas to make positive changes
  • Offers support in person, by appointment only or by phone, video call, and online counselling
  • Services are confidential and address personal, family, or work life issues for individuals, couples and families


  • Provides an education group focused on teaching the 4 core skills used in dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT): mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness
  • Helps individuals learn to handle distress and intense emotions in healthier ways
  • Program is 10 weeks in length with participants taking part in weekly group sessions
  • Helps people with issues including
    • Impulsive behaviour
    • Inablility to control emotions
    • Negative thoughts
    • Substance abuse
    • Tolerating stress

    Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals 18 years of age and older experiencing emotional distress or a variety of negative struggles, confusion, relationship issues or substance use difficulties
