- Wakenagun Youth Healing
LodgePelican High Peak Family Healing Lodge
Operates a culturally-focused voluntary residential treatment program for Indigenous families who struggle with polysubstance use and/or mental health challengesProgram includes Pre-Treatment, Intake, Residential Stay and Aftercare ServicesDuration of residential stay is 3 weeksProvides a holistic program using both traditional and contemporary models of treatment to help individuals deal from their substance use and mental health challenges

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Potential clients must:
- Be an Indigenous Family
- Be medically stable
- Be substance-free for at least 2 weeks prior to admission
- Not use the program as an alternative to incarceration or probation
- Have a voluntary commitment to the healing process
- Be willing to participate in a traditional/spiritual approach to the healing process
- Not exhibit a progressive history of violent behaviour
