Operates three residential treatment centres for First Nations people with polysubstance use and mental health challenges
- Ka Na Chi Hih Healing Lodge
- Wakenagun Youth Healing
LodgePelican High Peak Family Healing Lodge
Operates a culturally-focused voluntary residential treatment program with capacity for 6 First Nations individuals who struggle with polysubstance use and/or mental health challengesProgram includes Pre-Treatment, Intake, Residential Stay and Aftercare ServicesDuration of residential stay is 7 weeksProvides a holistic program using both traditional and contemporary models of treatment to help individuals deal from their substance use and mental health challengesAccepts male and female clients on a rotating intake, regardless of gender identity

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Potential clients must:
- Be Canadian First Nations individual between 18-29 years of age
- Be medically stable
- Not use the program as an alternative to incarceration or probation
- Have a voluntary commitment to the healing process
- Be willing to participate in a traditional/spiritual approach to the healing process
- Not exhibit a progressive history of violent behaviour
