Service Description: Enhances, maintains, and promotes the mental well being of individuals, families and communities

  • Provides a walk-in counselling clinic on a first come-first served basis for individuals 16 years of age and older
  • Works with the Children's Centre Thunder Bay and Thunder Bay Counselling to provide the clinic
  • Services available:
    • immediate mental health support
    • information about community referrals for mental health, CMHA programs and referrals, addictions/harm reduction, housing, employment and financial supports as needed
    Counselling services may include:
    • anxiety
    • depression
    • difficult life situations
    • family conflict
    • grief and loss
    • parenting issues
    • social isolation
    • student/school stress
    • work-related stress
    Counselling is available via telephone or in-person

    Fees: Free
    Application: Call-in, walk-in on first come, first serve basis; appointments may be available
    Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals 16 years of age and older
