Service Description:
|
Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Red Rock Indian Band- Tribal Council: Independent (does not belong to Tribal Council)
- Political
Territorial Organization: Union of Ontario Indians (UOI)Robinson-Superior Treaty
Provides services and assistance with the registration system of all issues pertaining to membership- Informs community members and leadership of current and evolving Indian status changes and issues
- Maintains updated population statistics
- Supplies forms, provides guidance for filling out applications and offers assistance in mailing to applicable departments
Provides assistance in the following matters:- Birth Certificate Application
- Application for Registration of a Minor Child
- Membership Application
- Registration of a Minor Child Under the Indian Act
- Registration of an Adult Under the Indian Act
- Statement of Live Birth
Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS)- Encourages all members to apply for the new Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS) card, an initiative of Indigenous Services Canada (ISC)
- SCIS applications can now be completed with the Membership Clerk or mailed or presented in person at an ISC office and are available on the ISC website
