The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has six branch offices throughout the Thunder Bay District, serving Thunder Bay, Greenstone, Manitouwadge, Marathon, Red Rock, and Terrace Bay, and surrounding areas.
Book a vaccination appointment through the provincial online booking system here
If you cannot book online, you can call the Provincial Vaccine Booking Line at 1-833-943-3900. Hours of operation are 8 am-8 pm daily.
Pharmacy Vaccination Appointments: Interested individuals can visit the COVID-19 Pharmacy Vaccine Locations website to find a participating pharmacies and contact information.
Accommodations for Homebound Individuals, those with anxiety around needles/immunizations, and those who require a sensory-friendly atmosphere- To request an accommodation, call the TBDHU's "Ask a Nurse Service" at 807-625-5900 ext 5108 (or press 4 when prompted) or Toll-Free at 1-888-294-6630

Eligibility / Target Population:

According to the Government of Ontario's COVID Vaccination Plan, which can be found at this link
Consult with health care provider if:
- younger than 2 years of age
- pregnant, want to become pregnant soon after vaccination, or breastfeeding
- have an autoimmune disorder or weakened immune system due to illness or treatment; or
- have a bleeding problem, bruise easily
