Service Description:
|
Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Neskantaga First Nation- Tribal Council: Matawa First Nations Management
- Political Territorial
Organization: Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)Treaty #9
Provides support services to women in the community affected by physical, sexual or emotional abuse by their partner and/or significant other- Assists with connecting to community supports
- Provides referrals to women's crisis shelters
- Assists with finding or maintaining housing
- Offers options for ongoing healing, treatment and counselling
- Provides education awareness on family violence prevention and assists with community-based support healing programs

Female members of Neskantaga First Nation 16 years of age and older who reside in the community and are/have been physically, sexually, or emotionally abused by their partner and/or significant other
