Service Description: Provides support services to women in the community affected by physical, sexual or emotional abuse by their partner and/or significant other
  • Assists with connecting to community supports
  • Provides referrals to women's crisis shelters
  • Assists with finding or maintaining housing
  • Offers options for ongoing healing, treatment and counselling
  • Provides education awareness on family violence prevention and assists with community-based support healing programs

Eligibility / Target Population: Female members of Neskantaga First Nation 16 years of age and older who reside in the community and are/have been physically, sexually, or emotionally abused by their partner and/or significant other
