Operates as a non-status Ojibwe First Nation; Namaygoosisagagun FN has applied for official Band Status and reserve lands; currently awaiting approval UnaffiliatedPolitical Territorial Organization: Union of Ontario Indians (UOI)Robinson-Superior Treaty
Coordinates health and health-related services for community members including but not limited to:- Child advocacy
- Elders meals
- Health promotion and healthy family development
- Health related workshops and presentations throughout the year such as diabetes awareness
- Healthy food baskets for children six years of age and younger
- Medical Transportation (between Armstrong and Thunder Bay)
- Water testing
