Service Description:	Municipality of Shuniah located in the Thunder Bay District Provides fire safety and injury prevention education to the residents of Shuniah Municipality Ensures enforcement of the Ontario Fire Code and the Fire Protection and Prevention Act Offers fire safety plan templates for businesses online here Offers fire safety tips for families online here Carries out fire inspections for day care centres, hotels, residences, schools, commercial, industrial and licensed occupancies Provides Open Air Burning Permits for the use of fire pits, outdoor fireplaces and chimneys Provides fire extinguisher training for industries and community groups Assists seniors with testing and installing smoke alarms Conducts training seminars for schools, offices, industrial occupancies and special groups Investigates the cause and origin of fires
