Service Description: Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to five First Nation communities

Provides advisory services to member First Nations in their administrative duties and decision making processes

Offers governance advisory services in the following areas:
  • Basic administrative functions
  • Codes of conduct
  • Conflict of interest codes
  • Election codes
  • Interpreting the Indian Act
  • Management training and development programs for elected officials and department managers
  • Membership registration
  • Strategic planning and development of each community's government structure

Application: Services are delivered at the local level (Band Office)
Eligibility / Target Population: Must belong to one of the member First Nations in the Robinson-Superior Treaty area served by Nokiiwin Tribal Council
