Service Description: Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support and advisory services to five First Nation communities

  • Provides governance, political support and advocacy to Nokiiwin Tribal Council territory First Nations in their quest to build self-sufficient communities
  • Consists of Chiefs and Corporate representatives from each community
  • Delivers programs and services through local community government in the areas of administration, community planning, economic development, education, finance, justice, mining and technical services
  • Provides services that respect and reflect the Anishinaabe cultural beliefs, traditions and practices
  • Provides an online Community Resource Guide

    Application: Services are delivered at the local level (Band Office)
    Eligibility / Target Population: Must belong to one of the member First Nations in the Robinson-Superior Treaty area served by Nokiiwin Tribal Council
