Service Description: Serves as a non-profit volunteer organization committed to fostering the optimal development of children and youth through one-to-one mentoring services and growth-based programs

  • Provides boys and young men with a role model to share companionship with through regular outings, usually twice per month
  • Promotes the importance of staying in school and healthy relationships with family and peers
  • Requires mentors to make a minimum one year commitment

  • Fees: None; Some incidental expenses may be incurred during outings; Volunteers must pay for police background check

    • Thorough screening process required for volunteers, including vulnerable sector screen, criminal records check, interview, medical clearance and reference checks
    Eligibility / Target Population: Boys and male youth between 7-17 years of age
