Service Description:

Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Nibinamik First Nation also known as Summer Beaver

Responsible for fire prevention and administration of the Ontario Fire Code

Issues applicable burn permits required for brush piles, incinerators and open fires, excluding campfires

Received a pumper truck in Dec 2020 from the Nipigon Fire Dept

Home safety which includes ensuring all homes are equipped with fire extinguishers
