Service Description:
|
Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Red Rock Indian Band- Tribal Council: Independent (does not belong to Tribal Council)

Territorial Organization: Union of Ontario Indians (UOI)Robinson-Superior Treaty
Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements- Provides transportation to health programs within the community
- Provides transportation from/to Red Rock Indian Band to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist etc) in Nipigon and Thunder Bay
- Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

- Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies
- Advance cancellation recommended

Eligibility / Target Population:

Members of Red Rock Indian Band who require assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury, age or not having a vehicle
