Service Description: Operates a self government and is responsible for the day to day operations of the First Nation

Provides a wide range of prevention services and programs that address addictions, family violence and mental health

Services offered include but are not limited to:
  • Intervention in individual and family crisis to resolve issue; working with other service providers to identify care plans
  • Provides assistance in child protection matters when required
  • Offers individual counselling for mental health issues, family matters, parenting and other areas of struggle
  • Provides educational programs at community schools on topics such as bullying, peer pressure, conflict resolution and self-esteem
  • Conducts home visits to elders, shut-ins and as client follow-up
  • Facilitates a group for seniors (50+ Group) to interact, work on crafts, participate in an exercise and socialize
