Service Description:

Manages the daily operations and administration of the Township of Alberton

Operates a volunteer fire department

Responsible for fire prevention and administration of the Ontario Fire Code

Issues applicable burn permits required for brush piles, incinerators and open fires, excluding campfires

Provides fire safety and prevention education

Participates in Mutual Aid and Automatic Aid with other municipal fire departments in the Rainy River District
