  • Addresses public health issues and promotes healthy living
  • Administers health promotion and disease prevention programs within the Kenora and Rainy River Districts

    • Checklist for ensuring the safety of a bicycle
    • Rules of the road and road signs

    • Choosing the right car seat
    • Ministry of Transportation guidelines for car seat installation
    Provides the following information on road and motor vehicle safety:
    • Driver safety (including seniors)
    • Emergency vehicles
    • Motorcycle safety
    • School buses
    • Seat belts, car seats and air bags
    • Vehicle safety
    • Winter driving including snowmobile safety
