  • Addresses public health issues and promotes healthy living
  • Administers health promotion and disease prevention programs within the Kenora and Rainy River Districts


  • Supports and provides information, resources programs and actvities aimed to reduce sedentary behaviour and increase physical activity for children, youth, adults and older adults.

    • Mood Walks
    • Group Walking Programs
    • Healthy for Life
    • Community Challenges
    • Pop Up Play
    • Active Safe Routes to School
