Service Description:

Offers services, products, and information that remove barriers to communication, advance hearing health, and promote equity for people who are culturally Deaf, oral deaf, deafened and hard of hearing
Provides hearing testing through the use of an audiogram to determine degree and type of hearing loss- Provides advice and counselling about all major hearing devices on the market to enable individual to make the best choice
- Offers advice about the benefits and limitations of the hearing aid, how to best use it and how to clean and maintain it
- Provides a 90-day trial period on all hearing aids
- Offers a home visitation program for seniors
- Provides hearing aid programming/setting
- Offers servicing and repair of hearing aids either locally or through manufacturer
- Provides counselling and possible helps for individuals with tinnitus; gives referrals to other medical professionals and testing

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
- Individuals aged 3 years of age and older who are deaf, deafened or hard of hearing
- Home visitation is for seniors 55 years of age and over
