Service Description: Provides hearing testing through the use of an audiogram to determine degree and type of hearing loss
  • Provides advice and counselling about all major hearing devices on the market to enable individual to make the best choice
  • Offers advice about the benefits and limitations of the hearing aid, how to best use it and how to clean and maintain it
  • Provides a 90-day trial period on all hearing aids
  • Offers a home visitation program for seniors
  • Provides hearing aid programming/setting
  • Offers servicing and repair of hearing aids either locally or through manufacturer
  • Provides counselling and possible helps for individuals with tinnitus; gives referrals to other medical professionals and testing

Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Individuals aged 3 years of age and older who are deaf, deafened or hard of hearing

  • Home visitation is for seniors 55 years of age and over
