Service Description:
  • Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support services to seven First Nation communities
  • Participates as a member of Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)


  • Provides advisory services with respect to all aspects of community infrastructure
    • Assists with minor and major infrastructure projects related to electrical, roads, water and sewer, and residential and community-owned buildings
    • Includes assistance with completion of forms for consulting services, capital project applications and various Indian & Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) reporting requirements
    Provides advice and services for the departments of:
    • Fire Protection and Prevention
    • Housing
    • Operations and Maintenance
