Service Description:
  • Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support services to seven First Nation communities
  • Participates as a member of Nishnawbe-Aski Nation (NAN)


  • Serves as a non-political Chiefs Council which provides support services to seven First Nation communities
    • Consists of Chiefs and representatives from each community
    • Delivers programs and services through local community government
    • Provides financial advisory services to community leaders and council
    Provides technical and professional advisory services and programs in the following areas:
    • Crisis Team Coordination
    • Economic Development
    • Fire Protection and Prevention
    • Health Services
    • Home and Community Care
    • Home and Community Care, Physiotherapy Services
    • Housing
    • Lands and Resources
    • Operations and Maintenance
    • Resource Development
    • Technical Services
    Works in partnership with Windigo Catering Limited Partnership to provide catering and housekeeping services to Gold Corp's Musselwhite Mine
