Service Description:
  • Operates an 18-bed acute care facility and provides an array of services
  • Transports complex medical patients to larger centres to receive specialized care
  • Serves as both a site receiving consults for local patients and for providing consults in the First Nations communities


  • Provides services to individuals and families with mental health issues

    Mental Health Counselling services include:
    • Individualized assessment
    • Crisis intervention
    • Counselling and treatment
    • Client directed goal planning
    • Referrals to other services and resources
    Provides individual counselling including but not limited to the following areas:
    • Abuse (past or present)
    • Anger Management
    • Anxiety
    • Depression
    • Eating Disorders
    • Stress

    Fees: None
    Application:
    • Open to referrals from any source including self-referral

    • Intake assessment required; by phone or walk-in

    • All services confidential
    Eligibility / Target Population: Individuals 18 years of age and older struggling with mental health issues
