Service Description:

Provides a comprehensive range of acute care in-patient and out-patient services to the residents of Thunder Bay and regional referral services to the residents of Northwestern Ontario
Offers prenatal and post natal care to women from a nurse practitioner, midwife, family physician and/or obstetricianOffers free appointments with support staff including social work, prenatal education, breast feeding support, dietitian, smoking cessation coach and pre and post natal fitnessRuns a weekly prenatal walk-in clinicProvides prenatal education and fitness classes
Provides breastfeeding support programs including:- Maternity Centre lactation consultant
- Prenatal Breastfeeding Education Classes
- Bosom Buddies breastfeeding support group

- Patients can self-refer; call the office for information
- Regional Patients: Appointments can be arranged through the use of telemedicine equipment
