Functions as a family centre, offering children and their families a place to learn, play and socialize
  • Offers programs to children at no cost to parents
  • Provides play centres with toys and materials for children
  • Offers a variety of preschool programs
  • Offers workshops on various parenting topics
  • Answers questions about child's development
  • Provides links to family services within the community
  • Participates in various preschool programs with community partners
  • Loans out adult resources on various parenting issues and child development issues
  • Encourages parents and children to drop in anytime during regular hours to use the play space and learning centres
  • May offer infant programs and loan of items such as baby monitors, high chairs etc; contact office for information

Application: Enrollment is required for programs
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Children 12 years of age and younger

  • Infant programs (if offered), available for parents/caregivers and infants up to 12 months of age

  • Drop In Playtime: Children must be accompanied by parent/caregiver
