Offers a food security and diabetes prevention program designed to improve health outcomes for urban Indigenous people Coordinates and delivers food-related services, activities and initiatives including:- Increased access to traditional and nutritional foods through food bank, good food boxes, community meal programs, and food vouchers
- Educational information, videos and workshops about healthy eating and meal preparation
- Cooking, budgeting and nutritional classes
- Land-based activities such as hunting, fishing, berry picking, gardening and harvesting
- Teachings from local Elders and Traditional Knowledge Keepers
- Support for existing diabetes and health promotion programs
