Service Description:

Assists low to moderate income off-reserve Indigenous renter households to purchase affordable homes by providing down payment and closing cost assistance in the form of a forgivable loan

Provides the funding as a down payment and closing cost assistance loan for eligible purchasers

Eligibility / Target Population:

Low to moderate-income Indigenous people who are looking to purchase their sole and primary residence off-reserve, outside of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) in Ontario and:

hold Canadian citizenship and are 18 years of age or older
Individuals who do not qualify for a mortgage, cannot apply for homeownership assistance
