Service Description:
  • Offers stable housing free of violence and substance abuse for up to two years for young mothers with a desire for further connection and reunification with their children
  • Assists women to further their skills and activities of daily living and parenting
  • Promotes building resilience, skills and strengths in a community living environment to transition successfully to independent living with their child
  • Offers assistance to women in the following areas
    • Setting and working towards goals
    • Parenting
    • Schooling and/or employment
    • Emotional and physical wellness
    • Connections in the community

    • Application available at office or on website

    • Maximum stay is 24 months
    Eligibility / Target Population: Women 16-29 years of age and older and their children 4 years of age and younger involved in any form of family crisis and/or violence or have experienced physical, sexual, emotional, physiological, financial or spiritual abuse and requiring temporary housing and support for up to two years
