Service Description: Operates a multi-purpose recreational facility which includes:
Aquatic Centre
  • Provides a 6 lane public swimming pool
  • Offers swimming lessons and public swims
  • Amenities include tot pool, leisure pool, waterslide, diving board, hot tub, sauna, regular male/female change rooms and large family change room
Arena
  • Provides an arena for scheduled events such as hockey games
  • Offers weekly open hockey sessions for special interest groups including parents and tots, seniors and women
  • Offers weekly public skating; some sessions for seniors
  • Provides a year round indoor walking track
Fitness Centre
  • Provides cardio equipment, free weights and separate stretching and abdominal area
  • Offers over 30 workout stations
  • Provides services of a certified fitness consultant and personal trainers
  • Provides group fitness sessions

Application: Contact office to register for all scheduled programming, other than public swims or public skating
Eligibility / Target Population: Aquatic Centre

  • Children must be minimum of 8 years of age and 4 ft tall to enter pool unaccompanied; 7 years of age and under must be accompanied by an individual 16 years of age or older

  • Children must be at least 42 in tall and be able to swim 3 metres unassisted to use waterslide

  • Children must be 14 years of age and older to use sauna
