Service Description:

Offers wholistic supports and services for families who have been affected by issues related to unresolved traumaProvides healthy coping and stabilization techniques, psycho-education and a therapeutic environment to assist families in the healing processPromotes Anishinaabe culture, ceremony and land-based teachingsCollaborates with other First Nation service providers for program deliveryProgram is offered in three phases:
- Pre-treatment/orientation including intake
- Treatment, provided through a 15-day outpatient program
- Post-discharge/aftercare services up to six months

- Open to referrals from any source; referral form available on website
- Requires submission of completed information package, available on website

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
- Families of any of the 9 First Nations communities in the Rainy Lake Tribal Region living either on/off-reserve
- Family members must make a commitment to their own healing process and
- Must actively participate in all components of the program
- Individuals on a methadone/suboxone program are accepted
NOTE: NOT accepted are individuals actively using/misusing/abusing alcohol/drugs or deemed high-risk for violence
