Service Description:
|
Responsible for processing Non-Insured Health Benefits Service claims and coordinating medical transportation for community members- Provides transportation within the community for individuals with no access to a vehicle in accessing the Nursing Station or Health Services Office
- Provides assistance with completing prior approval applications for long distance medical appointments
- Submits medical appointment travel, mileage, meal and accommodation requests on behalf of individual
- Offers assistance with arrangements for accommodation and travel details for individuals attending medical appointments out of community including Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre or Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital
