Service Description:

Provides supports and training for urban Aboriginal people seeking further training and/or employment- Collaborates with employers to build employment and training opportunities
- Provides individual employment counselling
- Conducts client employability assessments
- Offers access to job board with current local job postings
- Provides workshops and referrals to training programs
- Posts job opportunities/ads on Facebook page
Provides assistance with:- Writing resumes and cover letters
- Completing job applications
- Conducting job searches
- Improving interview skills
- Designing and implementing an employment action plan
- Matching job seekers with employers
Provides information about:- Local, provincial and national job markets
- Small business and proposal development
- Training opportunities
