Service Description: Offers a comprehensive holistic program for Aboriginal children and their families living on-reserve to prepare young children for school
  • Strives to meet the emotional, social, health and nutritional needs of children
  • Offers activities such as family gym time, arts and crafts, breakfast/lunch/snacks and circle time
  • Participates in community events and special celebrations
Offers daily programs focused on:
  • Education
  • Health and nutrition
  • Native culture and language
  • Parental and family involvement
  • Social support

Application:
  • Requires completed registration application and

  • Child's birth certificate and copy of updated immunization record
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Members of Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation

  • Children from 15 months to 6 years of age and their families
Languages: English
Language Notes: Ojibwe, available upon request
