Service Description: Operates a short-term emergency shelter for abused women and their children
  • Provides a 24-hour crisis line
  • Accommodates a maximum of 10 individuals
Coordinates the following support services for residents:
  • Helps women understand options to assist in making life choices
  • Offers assistance in accessing housing, legal and other community services
  • Offers individual counselling

  • Requires initial confidential intake assessment
Eligibility / Target Population: First Nation women 18 years of age and older who have been physically, sexually, financially or emotionally abused and their children up to 16 years of age living within the Treaty #3 area
