Service Description:
  • Responsible for fire prevention and administration of the Ontario Fire Code
  • Issues applicable burn permits required for brush piles, incinerators and open fires, excluding campfires
  • Provides the following services:
    • Auto extrication
    • Education
    • Emergency planning
    • Fire investigation
    • Fire suppression
    • Hazardous materials information
    • Home safety
    • School tours



    Fees: Service fees for Burn permits; None for all other services
    Application: No burn permits issued between Apr 1st to Nov 1st
    Eligibility / Target Population: No restrictions
