  • Not road accessible; ice road during the winter months
  • Community is made up of two geographic locations: NW Angle 33A is 60 km SE of Kenora on shore of Dog Paw Lake

Service Description: Delivers medical transportation services and assistance in making medical appointment arrangements
  • Provides transportation to medical appointments within the community
  • Provides transportation from/to Angle Inlet and Dog Paw communities to any medical appointments (doctor, dentist, optometrist etc) in the city of Kenora or Winnipeg
  • Provides assistance with making arrangements for any medical appointments out of town such as booking appointments, hotels, and completing applications for mileage compensation

Application:
  • Requires written proof of medical appointment

  • Requires 24 hour advance booking; exceptions made for emergencies

  • Advance cancellation recommended
Eligibility / Target Population: Members of Northwest Angle #33 First Nation who require assistance with medical transportation due to illness, injury or age
