Provides a 24-hour emergency line to report health hazards or obtain information about a health hazard emergency eventIdentifies and investigates potential health hazards including extreme temperatures, heavy metals, bed bugs etcTakes appropriate steps to eliminate and/or decrease the effects of the health hazards to the communityEnsures public health services are delivered during health hazard eventsParticipates on Community Emergency Response Committees to develop, coordinate and monitor plans for communities to follow in emergency situationsPartners with Kenora Integrated Pest Management Committee (KIPMC) to monitor pesticide use
