Service Description: Addresses child and youth mental health and addiction issues by promoting healthy lifestyles and healthy alternatives
  • Offers services and programs in an effort to decrease youth involvement in gang activity, violence and drug and alcohol abuse
  • Provides culturally based supports to reduce family violence
  • Provides individual and family referrals to other service providers
Services and programs offered:
  • Indigenous programs such as Kiizhay Anishinaabe (I Am a Kind Man)
  • Community and cultural events
  • Fitness and recreational activities
  • Traditional healing circles
  • Peer counselling
  • Public education on alcohol and drug abuse, gang activity and violence

Application: Requires a signed consent form and completion of program intake form
Eligibility / Target Population:
  • Children 7-15 years of age and their families


  • Open to all with a focus on off-reserve Indigenous peoples
