Service Description:
  • Provides information to raise awareness of family violence and strategies to stop it
  • Facilitates group talking circles to promote inner healing of family members
  • Offers individual peer counselling
  • Provides advocacy between individual and agencies
  • Provides referrals to needed community supports and services
  • Offers education about healthy and unhealthy relationships
  • Hosts traditional gatherings including traditional teachings and feasts

    Application: Requires a signed consent and completion of program intake form
    Eligibility / Target Population: Open to all with a focus on off reserve Indigenous peoples
